Creativity and a love of all things beautiful…

It started with a family of 4 girls during the 70’s, when life was simple and parents kicked their kids out the door early in the morning. Spending late days in the yard with our Fisher Price houses, each one of us would scout out a piece of land to set our brightly colored plastic house on. We looked to see where we would have the best setting; under the evergreen shrubs, in the flower bed of Lily of the Valley or with a water view on the side of our fish pond that was our dad’s pride and joy (well, except for his 4 girls). We would create the perfect home for our Little People family complete with tree and gravel lined driveways that led to our beautifully landscaped houses. Hence, the beginning of our creative journey.

We were fortunate to have inherited our parents creativity, resourcefulness, and their love of all things beautiful! Our mom, always being on trend with the latest in interior design, also taught us everything we needed to know about sewing and crafting, baking and cake decorating. Our dad was an amazing cook and master gardener. We learned quickly to appreciate our creative genes.

Being an artist came naturally to each of us. Cheryl studied design and has worked as an Art/Creative Director, as well as owning her own florist and textile company. Suzette retired after 34 years of teaching art and serving as Director of Fine Art at South Country School District where her love of the visual arts and theater nourished the need to create.

After years of acquiring knowledge and experience in a medley of fortes, we decided that it was time to create a company where we could share our creativity and passion for beauty and service with our fellow Long Islanders.
